Al Morrison Bat Standards
**Penalty for violating the bat rule (in all leagues) is the player will be called out as long as it is found before a pitch to the next batter. (Stepping into the batters box with an illegal bat is considered using an illegal bat)
Wood and Metal bats are approved for all leagues, except for
Mantle league. Mantle league will use wood.
Instructional T Ball league may use any bat that has a manufactures logo
on it designating it for T-Ball use.
Coach Pitch T-Ball league bats must be no greater than 2
3/4 diameter, no more than a -12 ounce drop. -13 and
beyond will be illegal -12 and lower is acceptable. All lengths are
acceptable. For example a 26 inch bat that weighs 14 ounces is acceptable.
A 26 inch bat that weighs 13 ounces would be illegal.
Future league bats must be no greater than 2 3/4 diameter, no
more than a -10 ounce drop. -11 and beyond will be illegal. -10 and lower is
acceptable. All lengths are acceptable.
Bronco league bats must be no greater than 2 3/4 diameter, no
more than a -10 drop.
Bats: All bats must be either 2 1/2 inch barrel or smaller with no more than a -10 drop
2 5/8 inch barrel with no more than a -8 drop
2 3/4 inch barrel with no more than a -5 drop
Must be ASA, USA, or USSSA approved and clearly stamped
All bats for T-Ball, Future, and Bronco must be Little League approved or USSSA 1.15 BPF stamped.
Koufax League (from Byron website) - Only USA Baseball or BBCOR stamped bats will be allowed
